Regina, Laurel is a sequel to The Chamomile, but each was written as a stand-alone. The third in the trilogy, Cassia, could also be read without reading the other two. But I must admit, your experience will be richer if you read The Chamomile, then Laurel, and then Cassia when it is released this September. Thank you for your interest.
