Pop Bop
Pop Bop asked Flinty Maguire:

Hi. I just read "Crab Shack Cafe" and thought it was tremendous. I tried to review it on Amazon but its page is gone. I now realize it was over two years ago that I downloaded "Crab Shack" as a Kindle freebie, but that means that at some point it was converted to Kindle format. Have you withdrawn the book from circulation? It's one of the best young reader books I've found in a while. Regards, Pop Bop

Flinty Maguire Just come across this question Pop Bop, and I've also replied to your review. I guess I've been in the wilderness, writing/rewriting my books. I'm so sorry for not spotting this sooner. Please forgive me. I haven't really considered than anyone 'out there' would be interested in my work. It's lovely to think that someone enjoyed it.

I've JUST clicked on the link to republish this book again, and its follow up, The Lighthouse Code. Should be available again in the next few hours. And it's coming out in print - the proofs are at the printer and in a couple of weeks I'll have the copies. Yay! I've also started Ellie's next journal. I'm pleased with The Lighthouse Code - and I've redesigned the covers to make them more accessible to children. My grandson read them and liked them - so that was a big relief - and to get positive feedback is so uplifting - I can't tell you how humbling it is. Fab. My husband, Padraig, and I had a little dance!

Out of interest - what age of child do you think would enjoy Ellie's books? I imagine her as being 11 or 12. Is that how you see her?

All good wishes for a peaceful, happy day.
Flinty
