Devil in a Blue Dress (the first Easy Rawlins book) was made into a movie starring Denzel Washington and Don Cheadle in 1995. Always Outnumbered, Always Outgunned (the first Socrates Fortlow book) was made into an HBO movie starring Laurence Fishburne in 1998. That's it so far. There have been rumors and some pre-production work on an Easy Rawlins TV series and a Leonid McGill TV series, but neither have made it to the screen so far.
