Just saw this in People magazine. Apparently, this book was entirely made up. Tyndale has announced they will stop selling this book. Here is the link to the article. Sad, really. http://www.people.com/article/alex-malarkey-boy-who-came-back-from-heaven-hoax?xid=socialflow_twitter_peoplemag

Incorrect, the book was not "entirely made up." The little boy, Alex, made up his part about going to Heaven, to get attention. The father's story, which is the bulk of the book, about the legions of people who helped save Alex & his family, is true and worth reading.

Here is a link to a statement from Colton Burpo, the subject of the book Heaven is for Real, where he stands by his story. http://www.heavenlive.org/
