Is Sipho Morgess a self-insert character?

Sipho Moloi In the original draft, this was the case. I wrote a blog on my Wix site about being a character in my own story. I wrote many Siphos during my earlier writing periods as a wish fulfillment and to boost my self esteem. Sipho Morgess is the one I grew most attached to and even came to look up to him whenever I felt down.

However, the Sipho Morgess you've become familiar with, from the first two AP books, isn't a self-insert. Especially with how I wrote things in the AP3 outline, Morgess is radically different from me personally. There are some things he does in AP3 that I find objectionable. He also has interests very different from mine.
