"Good" is too vague. I didn't care for it at all, or find it particularly well-written. However other people rave about it (check the reviews). One person's meat is another person's poison.

If you like history and are interested in Japanese culture, then this book is yours. Geisha was a part of the Japanese women's life in the past.
