How mane chapters in the first part. In eddition Ima reading I have 31 chapters - is it complete version? Cause it's only 248 pages but Goodreads tells that it should be 487 pages

The book I am reading has 39 chapters, but, if your last chapter begins with the words <*spoiler*> "The shot doesn't come." <*/spoiler*> and finishes with <*spoiler*> "I must become more than either." <*/spoiler*>, the publisher probably put more in the chapters but I am not sure you can do that...
