Definitely one of my issues with the book. So many times I thought to myself, "You waited until NOW to tell her all this?" ESPECIALLY about what she is. I think she'd be able to hide herself so much better if she'd known who and what she was if she'd just been given the five minutes it took to train her - because that's about how long it took for her to train herself.
