Chance Margheim

If you hated this book.. can you recommend another classic book which has fantastic poetic imagery and good prose? A Kerouac classic alternative, if you will.

EllieGoneMad If you don't mind misogyny (and it's heavy with it), anything Henry Miller will do. Most people like Tropic of Cancer. I couldn't get into it because it felt juvenile but so did On the Road until I gave it a chance. I have heard good things about Quiet Days in Clichy.
Llaovell Try The Rum Diary
by Hunter S. Thompson
Iulia Try Bob Dylan's Chronicles or maybe Patti Smith's Just Kids. I found them very similar as style and overall "vibe".
