Taylor Brady This book did include the use of profanity (the A word is used a couple of times by Dahl). The context is definitely something the students would enjoy, however they must also have some understanding of how the British English language can be used differently and note some of the spelling changes (color>colour).
Heather I think so. They're great little stories and really accessible.
Cande No Not Really it would be for 11 year olds
Orinoco Womble (tidy bag and all) It's a Puffin book, recommended for 8-10 yr olds.
