Who is Creasy? Why did he go insane at the end of the book? And why were the two boy hellbent on killing him? I barely recall him mentioned in the story prior to the end.

He had a violent psychotic break fueled by alcohol & revenge, & Del wanted to kill him for beating his mom & him half to death. (less)
