When Phillipe was being tortured by nazis, he said that Diana was with him, just as she had promised. We, unfortunately did not get to see her time walking in the book of life to go back to him and make sure he wasn't alone, as she promised him. Also, wouldn't Diana love Matthew enough to want to become a vampire like him? (hide spoiler)]
