If the reader has already read books with violence, then this one is probably fine. Although Celeana does a lot of violent things, we are spared the details. Likewise with the bedroom scene would be fine if the reader is aware of such topics. There really aren't any details given, so a mature twelve or thirteen year old would be able to handle it.(less)
