Emma Susanne Yes, i read it as a preteen and loved it. Depends on their maturity... but it whisked me away into an amazing world and filled my imagination for decades
Judith Reichsman I think a teen would LOVE this book because Coiske, the protagoanist, is only 13 when the book starts and we hear a LOT about how grown-ups don't "get" lots of things that kids DO get... time and its importance, the imagination of kids, kids in general... perfect for that age
Janice I think I would choose to read it to them so I could answer any questions they may have and help deal with emotions it may bring up. Even as an adult reading it I had emotions to deal with.
