I don't know why this is marked as 2.6 in the series, since it has SPOILERS for "The One" (book #3).
I haven't read "The One" yet, but I think "The Favorite" should be 3.5 -- oh, wait--there's a 3.1 "The Epilogue" so I'm not sure which of the novellas comes first.
