Yes, it's definitely worth it! It is a wonderful series if you enjoy fantasy in general, though it is a bit different from the things that Sanderson has wrote.

Brandon Sanderson's solo work is certainly different than WoT but if you like fantasy novels, then this series is definitely worth the time. There is a LOT going on in this series but it all is wrapped up nicely without becoming boring, and the depth of character is truly fantastic.
