I'm not sure which edition of the book you had but my paperback edition included a map.

Boy, I would love to see a map too. Since the Pacific Crest Trail is over 2600 miles, it is safe to say that Cheryl "strayed" from most of the trail, essentially hiking portions of it, but nothing close to the entire trail, or even half of it.
