It's a standalone in the sense that there is no sequel, but it has a companion novel, Slice of Cherry, which takes place in the same town at the same time, but with different characters, plot, etc.

I read the book and while I would have liked it to be a series, it felt complete to me.

You can call this a stand-alone book, but "Slice of Cherry" also briefly mentions the characters in "Bleeding Violet", and it also takes place in the same town. Hope you enjoy it!
