Nelly asked:

Wait.. wasn't Jem Will's parabatai? .. Or they mean the one before him?

Tina It's written as a series of statements.
Jack was killed by (1) Will; (2) his former parabatai, and; (3) the Institute of Victorian Shadowhunters.

Poorly written. Should have used semi colons instead of commas.
Neila Korbi you only have the right in one parabati in your life so jem was the only parabatai of Will . 'former' because he became slient brother and brothers can't have parabatais
Tara I think it means that Jack was killed my Will, and his former parabatai Jem
Ana Fleitas The thing is that Jem isn't Will's Parabatai anymore because he became a Silent Brother. So they meant Will's former parabatai, Jem Carstairs.
Me-Connie I think the sentence reads as 'Jack's' former parabatai
Mariya I think they mean Jem. 'Former' because Will and Jem's parabatai bond was severed
