Do you have to read all the books to understand the story or can you just read one?

Steph Amador Tribbett You can read them all as stand alones, but I find that if you read them in order the character development of the mains in the later books is more complete. Most of the adult peripheral characters get their own stories later in the series but none of the stories are dependent on the previous ones.
INA O'DONNELL You can read each book individually, there is enough information contained within the book to allow enjoyment.
Tina They stand individually... You just happen to periphally meet the later books characters in the first, but they'd still make perfect sense.
