Meghan There are moments where the characters walk in on other characters mating (that's how they refer to it), and one of the characters is almost raped. The language isn't too bad. She makes up her own curse words.

You should also know that suicide is a big component of the novel as well, especially in the last quarter.

Chera The language in this book was pretty clean, but there was some sexual content that was pretty graphic for a YA novel. I quit reading solely because I felt like it was too explicit. It continually describes people "mating" everywhere. It's more than just a short suggestion or two.
Ivy like any teen book there's sexual innuendo but never actual occurrences, and language is PG-13 if anything
