Jay Sojdelius I disagree. This is so far from The Alienist books that I'm wondering if Carr has suddenly acquired a cheap ghostwriter.

Timothy O'Connor This is every bit as compelling as The Alienist and The Angel of Death, minus the historical aspects. I am enjoying it very much.
