Beersheba is in Israel. Rebekah escaped to Israel, and like Uri, had no desire to return to Europe. The man she met in the bar seemed to be a boyfriend or romantic prospect, leading me to believe that she was happily leading her life.

I would also like to know the answer but think that it is up to the reader to figure out. I wonder if Beersheba is heaven?
