Alison Ball
asked:
The best thing about this book is wise the young girl is. Yes every thing is taken away only the vital things remain and as a result she is wise beyond her years. The trauma though, the poor girl she knows she is suffering and so it continues. I am so grateful to her for writing this diary I learn from her. Did she really write it this way or has it been altered?

The book was written by Zlata but was edited and therefore slightly altered.
