Early in the book, Maura mentioned that she had some doubts about whether Nina was actually the right person for her. This was never brought up again. I question her reasons for staying in her relationship. Did anyone else notice this?

Ruth Griggs That wasn’t what she was doubting. She was struggling with her possible change of heart about not wanting to have children. She wasn’t sure how Nina would respond to that since they had previously agreed that they didn’t want children.
Shannon Timmerman Did she question the relationship? Or was she questioning her decision to not have children? I remember wondering about that as well.
