Viejotrueno The ending is perfectly well studied, it's a simbolic way to finish an otherwise quite simbolic novel... Chesterton wasn't lost by any means, it's YOU who are lost, projecting your incomprehension on the author.
Pedro Soares It seems a lot like Chesterton has lost his way in the ending. Maybe there was too much information and wonder even for his imaginative mind to bear.
Ricardo Rojo Short of a masterpiece, I found the ending lacking.
