Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
George G. Shepherd III
When I was in my early twenties, I was introduced to a crazy guy that had a very checkered and interesting past. We would sit around the fire and have a few drinks when I would visit him in Okeechobee. He told me stories about smuggling and how they flew heavily overloaded airplanes back from Colombia. I told him I was going to write a book about him one day so I did.
