Elizabeth asked:

I love Martin's writing and so I'm having to *forgive him* for writing a football book :). That said, I so appreciate the topic and his shining light on an area that often isn't looked on with reason and compassion. That said, my question is that so far I understand that he got 12 years. I thought it said he had served a full 12 years. Why, then, is he on parole with parole restrictions?
