Goodreads asked Justin Sewall:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

Justin Sewall Honestly, a good run outside or on my treadmill helps immensely with my thinking process. The extra circulation to my brain probably helps, but I find that running helps my mind to wander and ideas coalesce. I've been stuck several times wondering where the story might go and running has helped me to push through it.

What I find more debilitating is "writer's fear," the hesitation I get if I haven't written for a few days. To overcome that, I read a few chapters prior to my current stopping point and that helps me get back into the flow of things.
