This book is about childhood friends who grow up together around Lake Tahoe. It seems like one side of the friendship has very strict parents, so they plan to leave and go to college together. But then something happens and the friends with the strict parents disappear in what seems like mysterious circumstances, and when it all comes out what happened it changes their friendship forever. Thats the best I can do without giving too much away :)
