Having no limits. With screenplays, you can only write so much that can be filmed. You also have to take into consideration if it can be done or not. Even if you could do what you want in film, you only have up to a few hours. Anything longer and you lose the audience.
With novels, you can get into the characters head and describe what is going on in vivid detail. You can also have a lot more go into the story without having to worry about time. Readers want to read. Give them what they want.
