Does anyone know why the trade paperback has 700ish pages, but the mass-market has 1009?? The page count for Game of Thrones is about the same for both editions, but for this one there's a like 300 page difference. Is there extra material in the mass-market?

Mass Markets tend to have more pages due to the tiny print and compact format. And no, there isn't any extra material in the mass market edition.
