The central theme evolves around education. As Milo journeys to rescue Rhyme and Reason, he learns the importance of different subjects which he does not like at school. Milo also learns communication skills and general skills which help everyone in their daily activities. After the journey, Milo learns he can live life to its fullest. So the theme is education and of course learning/knowledge.
