Goodreads asked Dennis Moulton:

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

Dennis Moulton This is easy. First, keep writing. Hone your craft and be realisitic. Know that nothing any of us writes is ever perfect, but your your best to make it as close to prefect as fits you and your style. When others criticize...take it constructively and realize that other peoples opinions will feed your writing. In other words, don't take everything so personal, especially if you want to build an audience. Next, if you wish to your research for literary agents and publishers. Furthermore, take the time to read about agent and book contracts. Those things can have a lot of loopholes. As well, have others help you edit. there will be lots of times writing will seem too hard. And just when you wanna quit....don't. Believe in yourself and do your homework!
