What mystery in your own life could be a plot for a book?

Luanne C. Brown My maternal grandfather was born in Denmark and emigrated to Canada where he met my grandmother. When he left his home country, he changed his last name. We didn't find this out until after his death and we have never been able to find out why. He was in the military and was the personal guard to one of the young princes. We would love to know what motivated him to leave Denmark and why he changed his last name. Maybe he was a spy for the Danish court? The imagination runs wild!
