I love the magical world of Emberfall and have always loved the language of Syhl Shallow (It's inspired me to create a language system for my own fantasy romance novel!) - what were your inspirations when creating the language and does the language of Syhl Shallow have a name?

Brigid Kemmerer Yes! The language of Syhl Shallow is Syssalah, and I don't really have a grounded inspiration aside from the fact that it feels softer in my head than Emberish (the language of Emberfall).
