How do you get inspired to write?

Mary Huckstep I'm an extrovert, so I was busy flirting with boys, guffawing with girlfriends, body-surfing at The Wedge, working odd jobs to pay for my car, and performing in live comedy shticks during my teenage and college years. But after I had two kids in two years and was home-bound, then I turned to writing in order to be creative in ways that did not produce children. But I didn't sell anything until I joined a professional writer's group, which I highly recommend, BTW.
