Goodreads asked Rithvik Bala Praveen Shankar:

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

Rithvik Bala Praveen Shankar Aspiring writers out there- there's no advice from my side! The reason for this is simple. The whole process of writing is about imagination. Advice for writing restricts imagination. For example, if I say "Don't crack jokes in a serious event of a story" to an author, he'd probably stop doing that. But, what if he's good at cracking jokes, and what if the joke, when inserted, makes the scene much better to read? Then, his skill will be wasted. That's why, I tell all of the writers out there- "Do what your mind tells you. Never care what others tell you, until you are satisfied with their opinion!".
