Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
I've been writing for publication for over 40 years--all nonfiction. Two years ago, as a birthday gift to myself, I decided to try writing fiction. It didn't take me long to come up with a genre and a theme. I love cats--am owned by three at the moment. And I enjoy reading cozy mysteries. You can relax with them and they make you smile. The story for the first book in the series, Catnapped, actually came from one of my daughters--her cat and others in the community were coming up missing. The subsequent 6 stories sort of developed from there. I'm working on books 8 and 9 as we speak. One takes place during a beach vacation and the other happens in a spooky mansion (been eager to write this one).
