I noticed that--while Peter goes to such extremes to translate scripture to have few consonants. Almost all of the alien letters were consonants. We learn the symbols for s, t and ch, and in his speech there is one word that would read "tchs"

I was wondering the same thing! I really enjoyed the novel but I felt a little let down by the ending. But I really want to know what he said to them at the end, which was rendered in the alien text...
