Prudence appears rather naive about intrigue in the first book of the Custard Protocol series. It does appear that Lord Akeldama taught her a few things about subterfuge... but there also appear great holes in her education. And why didn't Lord Akeldama send her to the Finishing School? (I have a few guesses...)
