Writing daily boosts my confidence. When I skip a few days for whatever reason old doubts begin to creep back and I become insecure in my own self worth. Writing, you see, is more than what I do, it is part of who I am. I find inspiration in everything. I always have a notebook in my purse. If I am waiting in a doctor's office for an appointment, I write stories about other people in the room, based on their shoes or their hairstyles. If I have down time, I will write stories from my childhood growing up in a predominately Polish neighborhood in Old North Dayton in Ohio. There are stories to be written about beautiful sunsets, flower gardens, food.
