I always love all the female characters in your books! How do you create such relatable and well developed characters? Is there a specific process you go through when writing these characters?

Well, all my characters (no matter how minor) have their own interests and motivations. They are all the protagonist in their own story, even if it only intersects my main character briefly. Sometimes I will give the character a magazine quiz, all of them have a vital stats sheet that includes motivation. As to female characters in particular, I am blessed with many awesome female friends and I enjoy writing about all forms of friendship. Real friendship. The kind that isn't back stabbing or petty. It's important to me in my life, so it's important to my characters ~ whether they realize it or not.

Hello Ms Carriger! One of my favorite things about "Soulless" is that we get both Alexia and Conall's perspective on their relationship. Is there any chance we will get Quesnel's POV in the upcoming books? (Or maybe is own novella!? He reminds me of my husband so I have to hope) Thank you for all your hard work.
