Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
I wrote the book after a relationship breakdown, when I began to ask myself some pretty deep questions about the human condition and suffering. I utilised my knowledge of psychology, counselling, social sciences as well as Buddhism to analyse what I was going through and help me to cope better. I felt that sharing this knowledge and these insights may help others who may be asking similar questions about the human experience. In writing the book, I wanted to develop a (holistic) model, showing the various aspects, dimensions or levels of the person (e.g. evolutionary, physical, biological, psychological, socio-linguistic and spiritual) and how these may relate overall to the human condition and human experiencing.
