Alyssa Just because two people might have been through a terrible event doesn't mean they experienced it the same way. Having books like this that are different perspective gives us more insight to what happened in the view of two people that went through it.
Kate Everything can't be expressed from Anne's first person account. Books like Annexed give the reader opportunity to gain historical context while being involved in a story. Every person has a story to tell and Peter's is different than Anne's.
To think about that perspective gives us a new perspective on the War, the time, the people, and the events. It helps us see an old thing in a new way.
