When you were writing A Knife in the Fog did you already have the sequel in mind, or was it an after thought? I read your comment on a FB book readers club about A Knife in the Fog and it sounded interesting so I read it. I really enjoyed your novel, the layers in your characters were perfect. Well done, great job!! Best book I've read in a long time, thanks for being unique.

I'm so sorry for all the dead space since your question. I had an idea for the sequel, which became Queen's Gambit, a reworking of Frederick Forsyth's classic thriller, The Day of the Jackal, with Queen Victoria as the assassin's target. It was fun to research. I hope you found it in all the time between your question and my very tardy answer. Brad
