The three goals I have posted in my home office are for my writings to be “clear, concise, and convincing.” I should also like to assure any reader that my research and writings are bathed in prayer and meditation on God’s Word, relying on the Holy Spirit’s illumination of the inspired Word. My objective is always to arrive at what I call the “A B C’s of interpretation”: being accurate, biblical, and consistent.
Ultimately, my goal in offering the books I’ve written is to make an impact in the understanding and receiving of God’s Word––first in the lives of the reader, and then beyond that, in the Christian community, which I have served as a pastor, teacher, and chaplain.
