It isn't as far fetched as you might think to crossover Roman and Norse gods, the Romans compared Odin to Mercury (Hermes), Thor to Mars (Ares), Freyja to Venus (Aphrodite) and many others. Besides, maybe the short Greek and Egyptian crossovers are leading up to events in 'The Sword of Summer' - you never know what Rick might have planned! ;)
