Goodreads asked Amanda Trumpower:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

Amanda Trumpower 1. Tall glass of chocolate milk and super glue on the office chair.
2. A relentless repetition of three minute timers, repeated until the words start flowing again. (They will. Just give it a few rounds.)
3. Focus on daily time minimum, not daily word count minimum.
4. Put away the computer and write by hand.
5. If #4 isn't working, switch to unlined printer paper. Write diagonally, upside down, doodle...whatever it takes.
6. Go wash some dishes. Come back for a second try.
