Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Mark R. Anderson I retired from the government and finally had the time to write. Writing has always been a passion and goal. I wish I had a better answer for the concept, but I had a thought about an old Vietnam vet who lost the love of his life in the war, and for 40 years he was never able to get over it. After that, I began to develop the details of his life, and the events that shaped who he became. The story is a love story, set in the Vietnam War, that is recalled years later. It has some twists and turns, romance and intimacy, gripping descriptions of combat, and lots of introspection. I hope you enjoy it. Thanks for the question.
